I hate to do this but i have to sell my bug. I have loved this little volkswagen but just dont have room for so many cars so it has to go.

So as stated it is a 1969, that means its still a standard, not super. it has a 1500 or 1600 SP engine, its right on the edge of when they switched. It does have the IRS rear suspension. the car has been nothing but fun and brings a smile to my face everytime i drive it.

I had planed on painting it this summer so i was slowly getting it ready, doing body work. the only work still needed to be done is a dent in the rear apron, a little patch of rust in the right rear quarter (smaller then a credit card) and the front apron bottom, where the spare tire would sit is rusted out but i have a replacement for it that goes with the car. also there is a leaky brake cylinder, not a big deal but just takes one pump on the brakes to get good pressure, I have a new cylinder and also a new flex line for it just not installed yet. thats pretty much all the bad there is too it.

heres a list of all the stuff done to the car:
Empi H4 conversion headlights
Empi T-Handle short shifter
2.5" drop spindles
2" narrowed adjustable height front beam
retractable 3pt seat belts
Rear pop-out windows
1.5" Flared Fiberglass Fenders front and rear
Vdo gauge set with tach, head temp, oil temp, oil pressure and voltage
Floor pans have been replaced on Passanger side, solid on driver still
New ball joints for lowered front end (not installed yet)
body gasket set (hood handle door handle brake lights ect)
Pertronix flame thrower electric ignition (eliminates points)
Pertronix Flame thrower coil to match ignition
low mount exhuast

the car has just been nothing but fun as i said. oh it has a CLEAN TITLE of course.looking for about 2200 but a member could probably get it for a little less
current cars: 2005 Jetta GLI 1.8t 6-spd, 1965 bug 1600dp, 1976 Jeep CJ-5

Stage 2 - 217 ft lb - "Works good in well hopped up VW buggies and most other competition VW uses where the driver is determined to either win or BREAK"
