ok so i started striping again on jeffs car. so before i did that i have not really applied myself to striping anything since august last year before the drive-in show and that was my fender.
i did alright for not having done it in so long and haveing some way cool issues (you know what they are). the other thing about those lines is that was the first time i have done anything with an audience before. so i am not used to being distracted, that being said i did alright on the top part and very amature so so work going down the hood. dog bumped me, not holding the hodd well enough and having it move while pulling lines. basic crap i have to go through to get back into my grove.
so heres how that went.

so he also left at my home his old nasty dirt bike helmet. it had been rattle canned black and was in need of some love.
first i spent some time makeing a grid on this not flat in any way shape or form helmet, read not fun. and then came the design and then fitting the design to the really round shape of a helmet. this is what i started with.

this is how it looks all drawn out and totally rearranged.

spiffy no?
here is how it looks with the first color on it. between the fully drawn and paint stage i reworked a bunch of the lines again.
this is the top of the noggin.

the next two are the back and bottom.

well hows that look? better than the car? you betche'. i used a different brush and louder music, HELMET in case you were wondering. this is just the first color, i have not decided which other color i will use on it but i have a good idea.....
evil laughter ensues
