my dubs dont roll....yet.  the rabbit is dead that is why im sellin all my fun bits for it.  

and my super in not really driveable yet as i to am on a budget, im finding that time is more expensive than money.

tonight is not going to work for me at the cruise as i have already spent the weekend (tomorrow and sunday) for lots of free time at the swap meet and friends.  


as for the parts just call dibs pending in their own spots so if a fight ensues over buyers rights your first in line.

raliegh i learned that the car you lust after doesnt have to be the upscale model.  i used to want an "SS" model chevelle.  but those are an astronomical price that the working class usually cant afford.  buy a base modle golf or rabbit and build the crap out of it.  its called a sleeper.  they also are a little less on the insurance cause its not the hopped up model.   i was going to do this with my rabbit before i lost interest in it.  the guys i sold it to are way into them and are going to paint it and were talking of putting a 1.8 or 2.0 16 valve into it.  that is a huge power jump from the measly 73 hp and 73 ft/lbs of torque it originally came with.


if i had some friends that knew as much about these cars as i did and our new members do. if the knowledge was there to help me build it i may still have it today.  it was my first VW and hated to see it go but also hated to see it rot in my care.

yore bug didnt come with that smoking motor it has now did it?

no it was a tiny little 25 hp if that from the factory.
