Today was the shop day to install glass into my Ghia. The front went in pretty much as it should. The rear however was another story. Turns out after we got the seal and trim on the glass there was no channel to run the install cord into. Decided to reorder another seal. After all the help went home I took another look at the seal. Low and behold there was the cord install channel. Turns out that the release agent from the factory left it fused to itself. After running a dental pick through the slit it opened right up  . Looks like I will need helping hands again to re-install it. Two steps foward one step back.
My engine lid and front hood got aligned and installed. The problem with my front suspention got figured out. Torsion arms are fine but my shocks were so stiff that there was no up and down travel. Big releif to my pocket book.
I would like to give a big shout out to Mark, Tony, Todd, Josh[frito] and Justin for all their help. Thanks Guys. :D  :D  :D  :D

No problem, let me know when you want to do that last window. I live right in town now, I can come over any time. Sorry I had to go early, had to pick up my new super bug and spent the rest of the day tearing out the insides of it.

What a strange deal. Did you remove the chrome trim ring prior to your discovery?

Nope. Just started looking at the slot with the dental pick and found one small open slit. Put the pick into it and vola, it started opening up. Yea, my mind kinda got blown, like where did this come from 8O ! I did remove the trim because most of it was pushed out from handling in the body. If you can make it over again I can be available anytime, let me know. Thanks.
