no, a guy named doug who works at Mcminnville toyota/vw did he used a piece of metal and welded it in, i will try and find a digital camera to take photos if interested

the only body work needed is the bare metal needs a quick sanding and sealed and primed. because its been sitting in the garage in bare metal form, its on the trailer straped don ready to be towed to your house for the cost of gas!

I think I'll stick with the smurf... It would be nice to say I re-did it.  But the pics of the shaved dash help a lot!  Thanks for your time.  Soembody will scarf it up!
