Hey all, I just finished uploading all of the pics I took at PIR, so here is the link.

I was thinking this thread could be used by others to post their links as well.

Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?

i dont under stand the idea of stacking stuff on top of your car

look i have a vintage car with vintage crap on top of it.

i'm not knocking the car or the person that owns it and loves it, i just dont under stand the trend.

Yea, saw that bug there, the guy was asking too much for it as far as I can remember. I like the surfboard on the roof or the vintage cooler. Was driving down I-5 a few months ago and a real nice 60 chopped top bug drove by with a orange surfboard lying in the passenger seat and matched with the whole cars sparkle orange paint job. 8)

Nice pics, I counted my car in about 5 pictures  :) . Looks like I need a shop day to lower my front end and work on the brake lights (for some reason they don't come on when I break  :( . Anyways nice pictures.

I've had the same problem with my 62. It ended up being a bad ground in the tail light. The lower screw that holds in the whole tail light is the ground for the whole thing, so vibrations throw it off which causes me to have to check the brake lights every so often. Maybe making 2 grounds for my tail lights would work?

Yea I went through all that stuff in the first couple of days I got my bug, pulled off the brake light switch and it was full of muck. Later on brake problems began popping up and I pulled off the rhs drum( it was original  :x ) and it was ripped to shreds, so I rebuilt the two front brake systems and Replaced the master cylinder. Only to have the new one be way too strong for the center brakeline that drags on to the rear brakes bust open and spray brake fluid in the cab. So I cleaned that up and put in a new brakeline, now im all good!!  :D   :D   :D
