We just came from there on the road up.

On the way down there is a mandatory break check station, you need to be below 300 degrees to continue on down or they would make you stop for 30 minutes. That would have sucked a ton as we had about 20 minutes to get out of the park or else we would have had a $100 fine for staying past the time they close the out bound gate...
...we were at 101 degrees. Not the lowest of the day but damn close, rental car abuse has occured. We used first gear all the way down the nasty grade.
