.  his power wire for his aftermarket stereo was stripped and wrapped around the bare part of the terminal.

Did they use all blue wires?  :)  Sounds like a winner to me!

so i went a head and looked at that for a minute and found a fuse in the line and opened it and guess what?  the fuse was blown and had wire wrapped around it to bypass it too...

off with its head! 

that came out the battery to starter wire was frayed and yuckie at both ends.  out it came and i made a new one from 2 guage.  the car turns over like a champ now.  in the near future i will be replacing the grounds as i am sure they suck equally as well...

and that is kinda where i am at now.  i am going to the swap to find different wheels for it and some other little bits but if i dont find them i am going to be rewiring it soon as i dont have any dash lights, auto turn signals, back up lights, he fried the gas gauge, and it needs seat belts for us all.  not just lap belts but three points for all positions tastefully installed of course.

nope they used whatever scrap wire they had lying around.  i have a better organized shop than he does, and Duane you have been here the only thing that has change is the desk is all clean...

i also have more supplies in my garage than his shop does, sad but true.

so the other day i was out working on it rewiring the trunk and Max is sitting in the car goofing around like he does.  he gets out and proclaims that he is going inside to have a snack.  OK thats swell buddy and i keep workin.  so i go and get in the car and look at the brand new black burn mark on the front seat right in the middle.  it is exactly the size of the dash lighter.  NICE!  its the only real problem with the upolstery.  he will never be let to forget this......

i am a details oriented person, so it comes out in my posts and makes the theatre of the mind all that much better.

oh and Matty i live in Tigard and used to work downtown that is why you would always see me around that area on my way to work.  those lights can be had at any time as i am normally around the house.

i have problems with too much authority.  it makes people do things they dont want too. 

it needs to be taken lightly or things will change as people like myself  will naturally migrate away....

i changed out that pesky turn signal bulb the other day when the man was behind me and i had to use my arm signals....

max asked what i was doing?  to which i replied, not getting pulled over and not getting a ticket for having a bad blinker. 

yeah but whats with your arm out the window?  well this is what you do when you have no blinkers to be legal...

I just got an offer letter for a new JOB!

The best part is that they offered more than I asked for which is $5000 more than I made at the last place a few months ago....Oh wait there I was also on 4 day weeks, so it will be $13900 more a year plus health insurance for my family.

Perhaps getting laid off wasn't such a bad thing after all.
