I think it mostly has to do with the line coming in to the engine compartment.  The first one from CIP1 has a threaded inlet.  Here is the rubber hose equivalent:

Will you be running the generator or converting to an alternator?  This makes a difference as well.  Will the engine be completely stock?

going for the "make me run" type engine
going to keep generator

even though the one you link says for 1300 and up it will work on a 1200?

I do beleive that to be the case.  Do you still have the push rod that goes to the fuel pump?

yeup
my pump just wont work
and want this thing to run
if i pour gas in carb it will run until that gas is gone
pump just wont well pump
