  • Time to make the doughnuts....
I drove a 1998 Chevy Z28 today.  It has the first year LS-1 and T-56 six speed in it.

I am trying to talk the missus into letting me have it to make it a drivetrain doner for my Bel Air.

Oh and if what they say is true about the power in a bug and how it will keep up with and sometimes pass a newer muscle car then I am in for some fun...

This one has 175,000 miles and had loads of power to spare with a continual feeling of being pushed in your seat whilst the tires are spinning and the rear is stepping out on you....

I only drove it three miles....

The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

Yep, a "true" red tail, a Suriname.
Didn't get the radiator done as the family car choked out and and had to use the Jeep as our only car. I tell ya, it doesn't matter if its ACVW or not, cars hate me.  :flamethrower:

You do some really nice work J  :2up:

I will get by with my sun roof for now. I've always wanted a rag top. But I like having a roof rack too. I'm not sure if a rag top and roof rack play well together.

Did you ever have any turbulence issues from the roof rack with the rag top slide back. My gf is very particular about her hair NOT getting messed up while traveling in the car. I'd rather not end up with a black eye  :pow: That was my only concern.
