Sorry to hear about your Mother, that is rough.  But I see too many people in her shoes at work, she is way better off without the pain.

Welcome back to the site!

Hi Kev, and yes, I do agree totally.  Honestly am at peace in knowing she doesn't have to suffer no more.  Her mind was totally in tact, but was a prisoner in her sickly body for too long.  She actually passed away from Sepsa, day's after a surgery that inserted a metal rod through her knee area, into her right leg for a fall that broke her right femur.  Then pneumonia set in her left lung.  She was weak to begin with and didn't have a chance.  I was honored she held on long enough for my arrival and I got to care for her personally and tell her everything I wanted for the last and final night I spent the night with her in the hospital.  She knew I was there, and we were able to communicate, but was difficult and took some time.

Anyway, thanks.

Am thinking of volunteering and getting involved with a local MS chapter sometime in my future.  See what options are available for me to help MS patients directly.  Help run errands, clean house, yard work or something similiar from time to time.  MS is a terrible, horrible, miserable disease with no cure.  Not to mention classified as a "pre-existing" medical condition in which health insurance companies can legally discriminate and deny patients coverage they soo need and deserve at this time.   :lame:

Anyhow, thank you for your message.  :-)

thats very kind of you i hope you do its sad that they changed the law now she cant get her mmc and keep her vic even tho they go together v.v
im the fox, love the vw here to get and give any and all the help i can but mostly in need of help, im good at customizing and body work tho

That is why we have gone the extra mile to keep three insurances on my wife.....

It costs us up front but sure does cut down on the stuff that comes in the mail after hospital stays.

:2up:  Definately would help me keep up with some of the gear heads building crazy, non purist motors like that.     :driving:  :headbang:

Who is doing that?
I am only building an 1835.....

Well, lets see, based on your history from personal accounts and reputation on the interwebs Catbox, it's no secret the "cat" has been let out of the bag long ago with your heavy right foot and abuse problem to said motors.  Highly doubt much restraint could be demonstrated for an 1835 build from someone with your DNA makeup that could, uh, lets say, reccommend an 82mm crank and 92mm slip in pistons for a 2276cc motor without actually doing it himself and instead opting for an 1835.   :beat_deadhorse:  Time will tell. :rotflmao:   :cheers2:   :driving:

Rumor has it, someone did something similiar like that with a `67 bus?      :headbang:

I know nothing of a similar bus.....

This bus person was influenced by *cough* some other person *cough cough* to try out 9:1 compression ratio in a motor and he did and likes it.

Oh and those were 94's cut to the 90.5/92 case register.

Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?
