When I joined many, many moons ago...

I was the only one with a watercooler ('78 rabbit) AND a curved window super.

No love was had.

I am suprised that they didn't make me sit in the hall way and listen through the doorway....

I was waiting for Sir Catbox to chime in  :rotflmao:

There really is no Vw hatin' here, unless maybe if you had a type 4. We don't have many of the water cooled abominations running around here as of yet, but I hope that numbers grows. Supers only get poked fun at because for awhile... Catbox was the only one who had one. Now all of a sudden his dark side is growing and his pack of Supers are rivaling the amount of water cooleds... And they keep growing! Soon... Catbox with be laughing maniacally as the club will be primarily made up of Supers  :king:

I will hopefully make it to the next Dubs N Donuts. I will be out of town that weekend for family business. But I'm hoping I can catch it before I head out. I will have my Mk1 GLI. It is a DD project atm. Nothing super fancy or really nice. But it sure goes when I put my foot to the floor  :driving:
Schneller Dummkopf! Aus meinen Weg!

Current Vw(s)
'66 Blue Bastard
'84 Jetta GLI

What is a super?

I have a 57 bug, 97 Cabrio (f-g wagon), and my son is now rolling a 99 wolfsburg jetta. We have never really even been invited to a meeting....

Super as in super- beattle! The late model bug with the strut front suspension... Some had curved wind shields.    As far as the invites are concerned, all you need to do is show up at a meeting or a event!
So. Consider this the invite! ;).

Don't mind him.....he is playin' you.

The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.
