It's this one here:
http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=vrg4

I'd sell it for $25, to cover the cost of RCV membership, and a gallon of my gas to get to PIR for the Bug-In.

It definitely isn't beautiful, it has a crease in the cover, and a nice splotch that shows up on the first 20 pages or so. Everything is legible though, no pages are torn or missing, and the spine is still in good shape.  It's in Independence along with me, but I can bring it to PIR for the Bug-In

GO ahead and bring that right along with you. You can just give it to Mark and I will pay your membership and owe you 3 bucks. I personally will not be at that show as I am one of those evil Water Coolers and we will mostly all be at WaterWagons but Mark will make sure I get it.

Thank you in advance.

Will there be a RCV booth of some sort set up? Don't worry, I used to be one of those evil watercoolers too (hence why I own the book!) Until this happened:

Hmmm, I guess I am one of the 'evil' ones now, but does my bad aircooled ride off-set the shame?
Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?

Uh-oh, OC. Did you catch that beautiful Rabbit-GTI emblem that went off to the wrecking yard?

Probably nix on the booth, we do the Woodburn show in June... But there should be several of us air-cooled types there...

The car went to the wrecking yard stripped. No motor, tranny, radiator, vent windows, emblems..... I couldn't bear to part it out myself- would have broken my heart to tear that car apart. I sold it to a guy on vwvortex who drove from Northern Idaho to here to get it, then dismantled it at his brother's shop somewhere around PDX.  The alloy wheels did end up at the crusher though.
