After this coming Dubs and Donuts this weekend, our impromptu cruise will be over to the KGW station in down town Portland off of SW Jefferson. The club will be purchasing $200 worth of new toys with our general funds for the KGW Great Toy Drive.

We are encouraging everyone to bring a new unwrapped toy(s) with you this weekend to donate but it is not required. If you can't make the cruise, you can still donate and it will be dropped off with the cruise over to KGW. If you wanted to gather up new unwrapped toys from co-workers, family, or friends, please do so as well.

We will be coordinating the drop off time with the station, so they will know when to expect us. I told them around 10-15 Vw's were possible with good weather. As of now it is supposed to be sunny Saturday. So let us all hope for good weather and turn out to support our great community!

Oh I guess I should mention, they mentioned possibly having a camera crew set up for our arrival, lets give them something to film  :2up: (Lots of Vw's)

Woot! sounds like a blast! I will have the Jeep, so I can transport many toys... May I suggest we buy 200 bucks worth of VW toys (lol)?
Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?

Sad to say my bug will not make it there, my alternator finally went kaputs and is not charging anymore. Since I will be going to dip Saturday morning tho I will be stopping by to grab some doughnuts and drop off a toy. It's killing me not being able to go to the drop off at kgw, it's gonna be a nice day and I'm sure a lot of fun!

  • Time to make the doughnuts....
It was excellent!

I pulled out into traffic to stop it for us all to go into it as a line....

And it really pissed off the old lady that was waiting.  She kept on honking at me and waving her arms at me to go.

Did she not see all the cars that look vaguely similar to mine that I am waving on to go?

She finally got mad enough at me that she zipped around us and piled into our line.

The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

My wifes car was living up to its name.. found on road dead...  broken brake light switch, could not get the car out of park.  She took the jeep to work.  Missed the fun, dang it!

She was driving a toaster, right?  What is it with people that drive toasters?  They are freaking crazy.... driving insane, cursing in front of children, is there no limit to the evil they produce?  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
