Today i finally made the back bumper for it i stained wood the same color of the rack. After that i decided to black out all my lights which looks really good, and then after testing it on a extra head light i decided to black out those too. I will have pictures of the headlights soon as they are still drying

For the headlights you should put a piece. Of tape across them ala WW2 style war Vw.
The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

The top one will work the best.

Just scuff it up and paint it to match....easy peasy!

Replacement turn signal lenses are easy to get. Your existing housings can be sanded and painted. BOOM, that's it. Get new lenses and practice on your existing ones. DON'T trim the housings until you are happy with the lenses. Measure twice, cut once  :2up:

Tail lights finally came today! Two weeks later but i got em and they look way better. So just saw this bug that they cut a 56 oval window out and put it on a 63 and it gave me the idea, I think im gonna plan on doing that to my sb and then when i get the money either weld early style headlights in or buy the fiberglass fenders. It will look just like a old oval window until you see the windshield. Definitely make people look at it twice  :2up:

  • What?
No one will ever mistake it for an oval window. At least not anyone that knows their VWs.  Why not just sell the super and buy an oval if that is what you want? Seems like a lot of work your way to get a franken oval.
