Anyone have the tools and knowledge to help with my spark plug dilemma? I know it sounds stupid, but hence the Newbie to Vw title........I was looking and man those back plugs look like a bear to get to. anyway we can do it in my driveway, just would like someone with expeience to help this old fool.

Let me know, not really a shop day I don't think, butifone person wanted to help out, I would appreciate it. anytime in the next week would be fine.

Do you have dual carbs?

What you need is a wobly spark plug socket.

I may be able to help, it depends on when, and where.

The way I do it, is I use a 6" (or so) extension on the socket.. a "wobbley" ould work, but I find those aggravating.

Hey, any help I can get I am game LOL It is a dual carb Kev, and I live in Beaverton off 185th.

Like I said I am new to all of this. :oops:

Oh, dual carb makes it a bear, you almost need to pull the fan shroud, and both carbs to get to the back plugs...

It's more the manifold then the dual carbs.  If they are Kadrons then it's not too bad. If they are webers/Dell's then it's a bit more difficult.

I'd be happy to help.When are you looking to do it?
