Nice.

Had the same car back in 91.  Loved it...  lived in AZ and the sun is always out there.  It was a bunch of fun...     :2up:

Fun Stuff.

Just a word of caution though, check the beam extender to see how it is built.
If it is a crappy home made job be preparred to spend the cash on a quality built one for your own safety and others safety on the road.

Go to Volksrods.com and look up Dbug as he is the current beam extender maker.

I have seen some poorly made extenders at the local shows that are covered in bird crap welds.

The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

Good eye.
The angle makes it kinda hard for me to tell.

It needs one then...

Yeah im pretty sure it doesn't have a beam extender on it but it does have a adjustable front end. Why exactly would i need to throw a beam extender on it?
The guy who owns this car did a really good job on it and took his time and he seemed to do everything right!

It just gives it that more rod look.

It pushes the front end out for a more proportional look.
Go nose around the Volksrods.com site, that will give you the idea.  Roll it like it is and when it gets put way for winter put the extended on it.
Thanneys car has or will have a Tinbeater extension on it.  Dbugs is very similar and just as high quality.

Alright yeah that is what i was thinking it was for. Yeah im definitely gonna leave it for the summer since im not trying to throw a bunch of money into it right away but i will end up putting a extender on this winter. I have been looking at them and it definitely gives it that rat rod look. Well if its sunny this tuesday i might drive it out to the meeting and if not you will see it at the bug run for sure! Are we still having the meetings at round table?

So the car is amazing i love it! I talked to the guy when i bought it and it does have a extended beam its extended 8 inches and it looks like he did a good job on it just like he did the rest of the car. Man i got a great deal for 1,600 bucks!
