Ok so Matt is getting his VR6 TOMORROW and now we need to start planning a shop weekend to get it put in.
Todd you said something about letting us do the swap at your place...you still up for it?  and when would work for you?

We want to get this done asap since Waterwagens is in less than 5 weeks and since the engine has 0 miles on it.  It needs to be babied for the first 500 miles so what better than a drive up to Kent, WA.

There should be plenty to do since when we get the 2.0 pulled we have to do a complete re-build before it ready to go in my cabby.

So now discuss this among yourselves.....

Don't know if I can make it...
Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?

Not sure what an air-cooled backyard-mechanic can offer but I should be able to make an appearance.

Air cooleds that dont know anything about water cooled will have two jobs...
1. watch and learn the ways of water
2.help me tear apart and rebuild matts old enigine.

and Logan, just because on here it doesnt seem like much of a turnout doesnt mean we dont have other people coming, Johnathan will most likely come out along with a few of our other friends.

Its up to you Todd...would you rather have us do it at your place or at D and M?  My dad says we can borrow his air compressor if we do it at your place.
