  • Time to make the doughnuts....
Hahahaha

He got rid of them because he stepped up to a twin turbo LS-1 powered car...
:headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

His need for speed is awesome, I just wish that he didn't fall off the face of the planet before he got me the cam card for the custom ground turbo cam I now have....
The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

Stuff it in a block and measure the lift with a degree wheel... Measure lift and duration at from .050"... If it's a turbo cam you will need to do intake and exhaust side... The best way I have found is to epoxy a bolt into a lifter and read it like a pushrod out of the pushrod hole.... That will give you lift and duration at the cam... The rest is lift at the valve per rocker ratio.....

Twin turbo LS1 sounds fun.... Not my cup of tea but still cool....
It you didn't break it then you  didn't try hard enough...

You can't handle the truth!  :rotflmao:

I loves me some Vw but I will always have room in my heart for Corvettes. Even if the guys that drive them are jerks... Maybe I aspire to be like them  :2up:

I always thought of Corvettes as American muscle. But then I watch some youtube videos of them taking down super cars. Does that mean Corvettes are Kryptonite cars?  :dontknow:

Yeah I have just been lazy and not bothering to check it.

I have a spare block in the back yard, the bolt in a lifter idea is genius!
I do know it is a custom split pattern grind, ground be comp cams.

Someday I will get the pep to check it out.....perhaps when I need to go turbo.....

It's not that I'm not a muscle car guy, I just am not a bow tie guy... I do believe that all muscle cars have their own cool factor... I have a 557ci stroker in my Ford truck with SDS injection... I have considered a Turbo but ask myself why every time I tap the throttle...
