  • Time to make the doughnuts....
I have a set of straight up Claudes Buggies turbo hats for Dellorto carbs, I believe they will also fit webers.

Here they are attached to my carbs (carbs not for sale)

They are in good condition and were on a 2332 pushing 14 pounds of boost in a rail for the sand.

Hats and base plates $70 plus shipping.

Parts located in Portland.

Thanks for looking,
Peter

Lem'me know if you want to see them as you are close on by.

I also have the special turbo emulsion tubes that are needed to run a pressurized Dellorto, I have simply not taken the carbs apart yet to find out what all I have...

Yup the are fro sho'

The price has been lowered to $40 as well because I don't want them around taking up my space...

I also have the mod rings that came with them when I got them, if you want those as well add $20 to the above price.

Pics of the mod rings on my carbs.

Here is another pic of the hats on my 45's

They have been waiting for you.....

 :headbang:

I also have the turbo emulsion tubes still in my carbs if you need.

  • What?
Peter it looks like you are missing part of your banjo fitting. Are the turbo rings you speak of in the place of the velocity stacks?

You are kinda right, but that is the side with only one hose fitting on it.

The other carbie has the double hose fitting.

Sorry I missed thesecond half of the question.  Yes as I understand it they are in place of the velocity stacks to help with eliminating turbo lag somehow.

They are a smaller diameter than the carb throat so I can see them having a centuries effect somewhat with the pressure that was being fed to them.  The PO was boosting at 14 pounds.

If he was push'n 14 lbs that is prolly why he got rid of them... Personal I'd run the stacks to help with some of the reversion from cam overlap and also help with air speed... On boost boost it's not a problem because of pressure, but off boost (most driving an low rpm) it makes a difference... I would run them with the stacks in them...
