So I decided to play installer and took four hours to put this boston acoustics 500w amp and subs in my car. Runnin a plain pioneer deck to stock speakers, amp is driving two 8" kicker comp speakers in sealed truck boxes. mounted fuse block on the front of the battery box. My lower back is killin me, i also discovered what happens to my leg when out in the cold too long...ouch!

Looks good.

I have a deck like that to put into my car, someday....

My priority list was:
1. Stop well.
2. Turn well.
3. Go fast.
4. Stereo.

I am almost there as I am now on step three.

what air space is that box? those subs love .75^3 ft. also what RMS are they running at?

I know that 3 of them with that airspace and 75 RMS each does 113 DB's  :headbang:

boxes are pre-made. I have no clue.  So far, everyone is surprised at them, including the guy at audio source in vancouver. Now, I cant have volume above halfway or its too loud... could crank it before, so for 200 bucks id say it was a good deal.  Next thing im saving for is a set of h&r sport springs and a swaybar set.

Magic mike is not the stuff for 8's.  You need 15's for mike. His stuff is so low.

Kid Rock baby. Cranked.
Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?

I dont like you.

I have found myself wanting something better than the $10 deck from my repo friend and 16 year old Alpine 4X6 speakers that have no suspension material any more so it is just a cone flappin in the wind...

I can barely hear the stereo on the way to work in the mornings, unless it is turned up to 25 with the windows up, then I can make out what they are saying as long as I am driving at a steady speed.

I gotta get that fixed.
