Sounds like fun, and for a change I don't work that day!
Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?

The Winter Party is tonight at the Mt Scott Community Center Skating Rink (in the basement of the center).  It starts at 5:30pm and runs til 8pm.

There will be food, music, skating and the White Elephant Gift Exchange!  Find a usable VW part or VW-related goodie that someone might want, wrap it in the very finest duct tape, newspaper, garbage bag, or other wrapping material, and bring it to the party.  The gift exchange is one of the highlights of the party.

See you there tonight!

I'll have two short videos posted by tomorrow. I didn't get any good pics. Any chance that anyone catch a pic of my wipe out? Or a video of it? I got a little too cocky and my skates slipped out from under me on a corner. I went down as gracefully as I could. I'm positive that the people above us could surely feel and maybe hear my fall. I got up with no injuries and kept on skating  :headbang:

I may not have been working, but changing the brakes on my wifes ford counts as work, right?
