8.6:1 compression, Engle 125 cam with CB Performance 1.25 rockers... When setting up valve train geometry I think my max lift (when checking for coil bind) was .right around .499 or .500".

That will get it moving.

I should have also asked who's heads you are going to be running on it?

The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

That's okay... Weekend's almost here...supposed to be a bit warmer, so maybe that last wrist pin will install a little easier.  Lol.  Last Sunday night, it was 3 degrees by 6:30 p.m., and I absolutely could not get that little bastid to slide into the piston and rod bushing.

I just thought that I would offer to take that problem off your hands.

They sure do look perdy.

Yikes 3 degrees, not cool, frozen.

Yeah, I knew it had to be the temperature, as I noticed a couple of the other wrist pins were getting progressively more difficult to install as I went along.  Lol.  Took me a bit of fidgeting to get the Tru-Arch (circlip-style) piston pin clips installed, too... my circlip pliers were useless, but my buddy had a set with interchangeable ends, which proved to be perfect.  I gotta find out where he bought 'em so I can get the same ones!  Good tools are key.  The circlip pliers I had were way too big on the pins to fit the holes in the clips and my needle-nose pliers didn't work too well either (kept slipping).

So now you can see the end is coming, how long until it is in the butt of your bug making noise?
