I am interested in having a club fun run out to the Oregon coast for a day, maybe in July.  Let me know if any of you are interested...
Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?

OK, if I can get enough interest we can plan for a SUNDAY cruise to ??? in the summer.

Cannon Beach?
Seaside / Gearhart (you can drive on the beach there)
Lincoln City?
Where else?

Sounds like fun.  The vortex community has an annual cruise to camp 18 that goes on to seaside which was fun this year.  A club cruise would be awesome then I could get nice rolling shots of all the air cooleds since the only one ive ever cruised with was mark at springmeet.

The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

The more notice the better as we tend to plan things out way in advance.

I know the last weekend in July we are at Sand Lake.  I think the rest are open for me.

The 1st annual Beach Cruise was in September last year.  It turned out to be an awesome day (like 80 degrees on the beach).

Well, September might work out pretty well again then.  I don't know what my work schedule will be, I start my nursing job on July 16th, don't know what shift, or if 10's or 12's.  Sounds like a 2nd annual trip may be just the ticket!

At least yours has been up and running.....there isnt even the slightest chance of my car making her appearance this summer.  Expecially since I spent part of what I had saved up for getting the top replaced to buy my rims...but it was a deal I couldnt pass up.  It would be awesome if she was done though whats better than a convertable on the beach?
