OK, this is the only forum I use that DOES NOT have this thread already. Just let us know a quick or not so quick note about what you did to your ride(s) today.

I'll start; Installed a set of pop-out windows out of a '67 I picked up for $40 from the Woodburn 2010 Volksters Choice Winner Mark  :2up:. BS'd with him for a few and his next build will be a 32 Ford coupe Volksrod(I can see Peter drooling now  :rotflmao:)
Then re-jetted my H30/31 and seems to be running more efficiently. I swapped the main jet for a 127.5 and the idle for a 55. I may use a 125 for the main instead of the 127.5  :dontknow:

Drove it into Portland and just had a good day with the family. Great pizza for lunch, walked around the Pearl for a bit. The bug is running great, enjoying the weather while it lasts.  :2up:
'74 Std. A work in progress. :)

My windows aren't fogged up, it's just a really good UV filter......

Its about time for this thread. Thx Matty.

Didn't do anything to it today.  Heading back to Long Beach today.   :driving:  But yesterday I built my 4.5 narrowed beam I am doing for a air ride set up.

Finished putting the front beam back together. It should pass at the alignment shop now. Took it for a spin out to Hillsboro to check out Mark's turbo motor then to Sonic's with the oldest boy for milkshakes.

Drink Coke, please try again.

Its a 37 Ford Volksrod  and he has already made some swell progress on it.

Oh and I just looked at how crooked I parked it on saturday.
The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

wet sanding.....

Oh and does dreaming about doing burn-outs count?
Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?

Sorry Peter, I thought he said a 32.  :embarrassed:

Anyways, I'm going back up to his place tonight to pick up the set of doors that have 1 piece glass installed in them. That way i can keep my stock doors stock if I don't like the others. Plus the 1 pieces windows were installed fairly well and work pretty good AND the doors are white  :2up:

I didn't put it together who he was until I was in his garage and saw his project pictures on the wall. Then I was like, "hey, aren't you...". Very nice guy; very appreciative of the Volksters Choice award he won. He had a Dbug beam extender sitting on the workbench that is going in the Volksrod  :2up:

Shmiddy,

Did you use a jig to build your narrowed beam? I would love to take a look at it!

sorry don't mean to laugh but the only jig he used was the dance move he did when the beam should up in the mail.

I have a jig at my house.

Sorry Matty had to kick you right in the Nantuckets
