The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

Got the car aligned today.  Hopefully we'll have better luck than last time(bad bearings in beam).

No had a dude in long beach do it.  Ryan Needles. yes its his real last name.  The shop i went to is the old shop on record in the US to still be running since here opening day. opened in 1927.   :2up: they got some really really ridicules artists in there one dude has been on the cover of tattoo ink a couple times with two complete spread centerfolds.

here is the original script i used and he went off of.

Nice one J!

I took the '66 in for an alignment today.  Second attempt to get it straightened out - the last attempt resulted in a teardown of the front beam to replace the needle bearings with the red plastic bushing thingies.

First - a huge plug for Bill and Matt at Alignment Specialties in Aloha (http://www.alignmentspecialtiesinc.com/contact.html).  They are the only alignment shop that I know of that will touch a lowered dub.

Bill called me with some discouraging news this morning - the passenger side of the beam appears to be bent.  Not sure how I missed that since I installed it a couple years ago.  It basically puts my passenger side wheel about half a inch further back than it should be.  They were able to get the wheels pointed in the right direction to the best of their ability.  I've never had an issue with the car pulling to one side, but I guess this gives me a good reason to start building a new front end.... when I have some money.  Fun times!
