Anyone know a good body shop in the Hillsboro area? We were out last night in our Caravan and got t-boned by some dude the ran a stop sign. The drivers door and sliding door are toast.

I'm going to recommend any Kadel's location because my brother-in-law works for the Beaverton location.

We "frequent" Andrews Autobody Excellence.  They have always done good by us with our neon, mazda & dodge truck.  If you want more info on them let me or smug know and we'll fill ya in.

Avoid O'dell Auto Body.  Anyone has to be better.

Hope everyone is okay after the accident.

I know its not in hillsboro but Tualatin Auto Body is the best shop that I have has to use.  As a plus they house the So. Cal Speed Shop and they like to give tours of their part of the facility.

The work that they have done is top notch with out complaints.  They were kind enough to point out that the new bumper that was ordered was crap compared to the original one and offered to fix the dent for nothing and credit the money back to us.  Plus they used the left over touch up paint to fix some other scratches on our buzurban.
The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

thanks for the info everyone.

i doubt the car will be totaled so i'm not really thinking in that direction. most important is that everyone is for the most part ok. i took the worst of it since we got hit on the drivers side and i was driving. i've got swelling in my neck and back muscles but it could have been worse. lucky it was in a 25 mph zone.

ilugsmugsbug if you have some inside info please share. send me a pm. the insurance guy is supposed to be out on monday to look at the van and cut a check.

here is the aftermath....

I tried some Windex and paper towel but it didn't work. Must have been using the wrong brand.

I'm not sure its "inside info" but I really appreciated the little things they fixed without making a big deal outta it.

I've been to shops where I don't feel welcome cuz I'm a chick, this one doesn't bother me, but then maybe I just go there too regularly.

My dodge truck was in there last month, teenage driver, they were doing some front end work and replacing the right side in-bumper fog light was part of the work.  They noticed the one they were not replacing had a cracked lens so they used the ok one from the right side to replace it.  The oil cooler bracket was pushed up into the cooler so they were replacing that too.  My insurance would pay for an after market part only, so after ordering that and finding it had a crack outta the box, they ordered the actual dodge part for me instead.  They have handled my insursance stuff with no issues too which is a big help.

We have had four different cars in there and would still go back. We've had a rear bumper and taillight replacement with paint, our neon had a hood and bumper transplant and paint, the mazda had a whole door replaced and paint and now the dodge was back for a front bumper. The only thing they screwed up for us was the paint on Glenn's vw as it was single stage and I think they don't typically deal with that type.
Hope this info helps ya out.

Just yo add to that on the VW work the paint seemed to "settle out" and is ok, a few more specks in it then I would care to see but they did offer to fix those with no real fuss.
