I am pretty sure that DIP is having a customer appreciation event on Saturday - I think I saw a sign on their window the last time I was there.  Might be cool for the Volksters to show up in force.

I called and talked to Mike.  The "Customer Appreciation" event that is posted over at Discount Import Parts is for Scholls Ferry Automotive.  If we all converge on DIP Saturday we better bring our own customer appreciation paraphernalia.

Now that we're not being appreciated.... I heard there might be a few VWs at PIR on Friday night.  Might be cool to show up and see what that's all about!  ;D

Mike did note that it wasn't clear on the flyer and a lot of folks thought it was DIP.  I beleive he removed the flyer.  ::)

I work Friday night or I'd love to come cruise along. I work 12 hour night shifts Wed - Thurs and every other Sat. It gets in the way of a lot of thing but you gotta pay the bills some how.  :)

I think this Saturday might be short notice, I know I would have to change some plans for that. I was thinking some time in the next month or so. Would July 10th work for anyone? That would also give me some time to see how many people are interested and contact Oaks Park to see if we may be able to get some kind of group discount. I know the summer is a busy time for everyone but I'm sure we can pull something together. If not Oaks Park then start throwing out ideas!
