I would like to welcome the new members to the club:  Logan (Corradokid 135)  Brian (8vgli)  And I am soooooooo bad with names I cannot for the life of me remember the 3rd new members name (Hopefully he will read this and set me straight) but he drives a sweet 68 Bug (It was the Blue one in the show with Blue and White interior. So two more water coolers and and Air cooler in one day. NOW we are cooking with gas!

Anyway Welcome guys hope to see you at the next meeting Next Tuesday.

We also have 3 other faces around here that should be joining up shortly, so a tip of the hat to all of the new folks, glad to have you aboard and look forward to cruising with you all.
No really...I do it for a living.

welcome to our place of VW solitude, free from the view of the mainstream man that does not understand our needs and pleasures.
The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

what do you mean "you miss you're pen"?

are you going senile?  what does a pen have to do with the interweb?

Thanks for the welcome guys!
Who knew that a cheap little car designed for the masses at the whim of an evil dictator could be so very cool more than 6 decades later?

You have a lot of pictures in the gallery similar to Peters, you must like the Volksrodders!  I have talked and met with a few of them, and they are a really nice group.  Talented and creative as heck!  Anyway, thanks for sharing DoC!   :)

            ..      ..
i am an uber lurker and love the pictures at the volksrods site also.  i really like the individuallity and expression that goes into the cars over there.  they are awesome tallented and unique.  the look and style is awe inspiring.

the "lab rat" was at the show last weekend and is one of the few cars that got me into the vw scene.  it was a vw trends in april that caught my eye. it was about volksrods and that was one of the cars featured in that issue.
i gto my up close pictures and love it still.

another lurker here! I will be making it out to some events soon. Back to VW's after a 5 year hiatus.  Kicking myself for selling my old cars a 65' stock sun bug & 61 double door panel bus. I bought a 73 bug a few months ago and have been getting it in shape. Feels great to be back behind the wheel of a VW!
