Driving home from work last night at 12:20a.m. (I had to work late).
Just crossing the Morrison bridge heading East and the flash of the police lights forced me over to the center lane. As I slowly pass I see a beautiful dark blue Karmann Ghia sitting there by the side of the road with two cops on either side. Don't know if the guy was busted for speeding (ha ha) or just busted down and the cops were admiring the ride...waiting out a tow.
It was a dark blue, maybe black ghia...had the bullet front turn signals...couldn't tell too much in the quick glance I took...didn't want to do too much rubbernecking/swerving all over the road. Didn't seem like the right situation to ask if he was a Volkster or not...great looking ghia though.
