So the drop spindles are on....





Sitting much better than stock. The only real issues right now are with speed bumps, my tow hooks take a bit of revenge on them  ;D , and it seems that my drivers side does not return to the same height as the passengers side. This causes some rubbing when going around left turns or braking after that side has dropped. Does this mean my torsion bars are showing their age? I'm going to end up going with a 4" cut beam but I don't think I'll drop it any more.

OK, so far not a happy time. The wife and I are going to a movie tonight. Every bump we hit the tow hooks grind and there is major tire rubbing. Looks aside I'm beginning to regret this.

Time to ditch the towhooks! ;)  or just keep driving like it is for a while and eventually they'll get ground down heehee... :)

But really, it sounds like u got a problem with your beam. Not enough tension...

Russ you just need the correct size tires for a lowered car.  Oh and I busted my tow hooks off on those big speed humps.....

So I do know that my tires are big for slamming the car, they are 195/65s, but I really didn't think it would be this bad with just a 2 1/2" drop. I know that the tow hooks will have to go and that is no big deal but I think I agree with Bryan that I have to have problems with the beam, most likely the torsion rods. The front end just shouldn't sag this much with just two people in the car and it should return to a consistent height.

I'm going to end up going with a 4" narrowed beam but don't think that I'll need adjusters. I like the look and height of the car with just the small drop in the front and I'm not planning on dropping the back at all. Now I just have to find a beam......

I'll never rule out the potion of putting disks on at some point. Mostly I need to get a couple more inches of tuck on either side to fit the tires. I'm going to go to a smaller size but I would like to stay with at least 175s, I'm running 195s right now and with the new spindles they stick about an inch to an inch and a half outside the fenders.

OK cool, that makes total sense. If you wanna wear big shoes then narrow is the way to go.
