as long as your car can make the 3 hour trek there, the cruise on Sunday, and the trek back, bring it!  either that or bring a pace car with extra parts  ;).  we cruise at a steady pace for everyone to get along.  half the fun is convoying together.

Also a word to the wise, if you plan on staying the weekend (obviously?) you may want to think about hotel reservations...I noticed things are filling up fast already.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Evergreen Inn and Suites, which is literally across the street from the Marriot where the cruise starts, and you can get great AAA/Coprorate discounts.  we had a two-bedroom suite for like $10 less than a standard room at the Marriot, and it included a full Buffet Breakfast!  just food for thought!   ::)  nice thing about the marriot, though, is it is right there where the cruise starts, and you dont have to move your car.

Let me know when you all plan on passing through Olympia for CFTC, there is a bunch of us Olydubbers that always make this show and we would dig merging our posse with yours on I-5 north. Some of our group goes upp the night before and gets hotel rms and some make the trip the morning of the cruise. Keith

so here is an update on this.

Looks like Bryan and I are heading up Sat. Morning (May 1st) <HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!> around 8 am
We are staying in the Best Western across the street from where the cruise starts. We plan to be up there about 11 am so we can kill the day in the city.
We are coming back on Monday.

everyone is welcome to join us on the Trek, I will be rolling an Aircooled so it will be AC friendly (Jeff).

Sorry...I meant to add in Todd's quote...i fixed it...makes more sense now.

I wouldn't trust EITHER of our aircooleds to make that trek, let alone haul my family that far in one.   ;D  Franky has "draft" issues...more holes than sheetmetal  ::) and Annie has never even been driven past my block.

Although, if I wasn't pounding away on my GTI, i thought about getting Annie ready for the trip, but I just am not going to have that kind of time.

Not unless we do a "overhaulin" series on her  ;)

You are welcome to meet me at my house and then we can go police up Bryan farther to the N.E. for so he dosn't have to drive all the way out to us only to have to turn around and go all the way back.

which one???

The one in my Ava, although I was thinking about putting the big engine in for this trip to keep up with Bryan, but if Jeff is going I'll roll the smaller one as I won't have to play catch up, Bryan can just drive slow ;-)
