Rust is lighter then carbon fiber.

Some cars look ok with carbon fiber.  Yours isn't one of those.

Looks really cool. The keg for a rear spoiler is what really sets it apart from the rest..  ;D

The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

Yeah it's costs an hour and a half Labor @ $90 an hour, $300 for the part, $5.00 supply's, only takes 3 weeks to install, and you get to be there and do all the work "For that real mechanic feel".  :o

now it is back, i dunno.

the DDB is some sad sack stuff, its to bad he is suffering from the economy but that is no excuse for poor customer care.

and seeing as i know what he uses in his alt kit and even if i got everything new from napa it would still run me 1/2 of what his "kit" costs and i would have it n 1/4 of the time it would take him to "get it in"  ;D dont get me wrong i like martin as a person but needless to say i will not be taking my car back to him any time soon

Unless they have started selling Bosh Aircooled Alt. at NAPA I would have to say please go to DIP and get it, so you A get the right thing, and B can enjoy your Volkster Discount.

There isn't a factory altrernator option for the Type 3 like there is for the Type 1.  DDB uses a special single wire import alternator with some custom bracket work.
