Here's hoping your not going to keep that distributor cap on there.  ;D

Lol nope its not staying on there but i thought that for now its better to have one to keep all the crap out of it for now.

Well its an empi cap and i would rather have a bosch cap to match the bosch coil wires and plugs.

Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding ^^^^ :D Give the man a prize!!! It would be a shame to run an "Every Mistake Passes Inspection" cap on a newly rebuilt engine. But there is nothing technically wrong with it (we assume).

Why would I buy new quality parts even if I had to save for them? I mean, I can buy used poop for half the price with no Warranty, or better yet I could re engineer it myself and hack it on there and then cry when it doesn't work.

I get a prize!!!! sweet! lol
Yeah I mean coming for working as a tech in a dealership I have seen many times first hand how cheep parts and cause a major headache Not only for the owner but also for the tech.

I have had more cap and rotor issues then any one person alive should have to deal with. I mean one crack in the cap can cause that spark to jump to the wrong plug......and all i know is that is not going to help my motor run any better lol.

The Whole point in this build is to go back to stock on this motor. I have even ditched the Air filters and picked up a stock air box. I am totally going for reliability with this build.

Wow, that roof looks amazing!  Did you wet sand it? Use a buffer?  Polishing compound?

ok so your going to hate me......lol

so i started with a 2.99 thing of polishing compound and hand did the roof with just the semi gloss spray paint on it for about 4hrs.

then i quick detailed it.

Then i used just regular car polish for and polished it for about 2hrs.

then two coats of wax and there you go lol.

I dont think this should have worked so well  ;D

the only thing i can complain about your whole project so far is i would have shot the engine bay either the green or black before stuffing everything back in

but still a great improvement!
