72 Square back build
« on: October 04, 2009, 05:09:15 AM »

ok so as some of you know I picked up logans old square at the start of the summer. well Its october now and I figured i would share some pictures of my build with you guys.

I am going to keep this light for now. I have a good 300 pics from paint and body work and there is just no point to posting them all up and making this page take 10 days to load lol.

ok so this is what the car looked like when i picked her up.

here are a few of the prep and body work photos

and here are a few of the paint in its stages and completed.

I have been working on a few other things here and there but its been about the body and paint and the motor this summer. I have a few more pics and will be getting them on here later tonight but for the time being let me know what you think!!

few more pictures. Here I have cleaned up the wireing that was all over the place under the dash pulled out a bunch of grounds and other stray wires that went to nothing. I have also striped all of the stuff off of the floor in prep for rust repair and install of my new carpet kit.

John, I would love to get those wheels like we talked about!  You could keep the tires!  And you could have the best 4 steel wheels I have as well.

John, I would throw in the carbs and air cleaner in the trade for the wheels, and some cash as well...

Anyways after much thought and loss of sleep over this I decided to go with the CL motor. Jeff and I went out to talk to the guy today and I put a deposit down on the motor.

So with any luck I may have the new motor in this weekend. Stay tuned for updates

Why would I buy new quality parts even if I had to save for them? I mean, I can buy used poop for half the price with no Warranty, or better yet I could re engineer it myself and hack it on there and then cry when it doesn't work.
