How many coats of paint did you do with the rattlecans? And what did you do to get it smoothed out? Wet sand?

Well kev the car received between 4 and 6 coats. as far as smoothing it out i used rubbing compound and a automotive polish and then wax. I am not completely happy with it and i do plan on wet sanding it in the long run but for the time being its going to need to do

OK next silly question: how many cans of spray paint did you go through?

ok so i know it looks like things have dried up for me on this project......and well they have a little bit.

In the last few weeks I have fixed one of my oil leaks as well as working on a little more body work. So i thought i would share my photos of the body work i have been up to.

Befor

and after

It is by no means perfict but then agin nothing about this car has been  ::)
But the point in it was just to clean up that section until i can find a replacement.

I also picked up a killer cooler

I should have my wheels done this month if everything gos according to plan.
So with any luck i should be driving her to the next meeting. Well at least thats the plan
