FYI - I have not heard back from the track yet regarding having our own lane like last time. 

We will still have race night even if they don't hook us up with our own lane.  I'm fairly certain if we all get into line at the same time like last time, we will still race together.

We had three racers - Duane (BuginU2), Bryan (UGOBUG) and Josh (jbjetta).

It was a fairly even matchup overall.  My times and speed dropped off during the night as the stock clutch pleaded for mercy.  Josh was having some hesitation/missing issues.  Bryan was solid all night.

i spent all of the day out pickin up a huge new bed for max, and spent the rest of the day at our first ever basketball practice for him.

then we ate dinner and went costume shopping.

I am sorry I did not make it as well. I was in Colton tracking the great white elk. Well it wasn't great, it also was not white, but it certainly was an Elk.

Anyway It's too bad that we won't be seeing JB around anymore I liked him. ::) Why won't he be around you ask? I am sure he will not want to show his face around here after being beat by an aircooled :o :o ;D

I only had one head-to-head race with Bryan and Josh (jbjetta).  Yes, I beat Josh.  It was the last race - his car was having problems - I had my second best run of the night (18.33 @ 72.86).  Given the circumstances - I might not have run my car down the track if I was having the problems Josh was having.

I had my laptop with me last night and wrote a little program to keep track of the races.  After each run, we could punch the numbers into the app and see exactly how the times matched up.  I'll be tweaking the program for future race nights.

Yeah my car was pretty sad last night. Oh well I have a baseline for my car and can keep track of the improvements and tweaks from here on out. I think getting a tune-up like I wanted would have really helped me. It will next time haha. I had one of my spark plug cables disintegrate in the spark plug hole and was giving me a intermediate miss fire  a long with hesitation all night. Also I came with a full tank of gas... Next time I'll bring much less and a can haha. I have no shame that a beefed up bug beat me. I think when my car is running as it should I will challenge him to another drag night to restore my honor.

And in my defense though that was my first ever attempt at drag racing. I did not red light at all even though I had some poor reaction times. I think I can dial in my rt better next time. so  :P Todd.

That's ok I know a guy with a big engine in a bug who had great reaction times in practice then redlit his first real pass :o ::) Of course I won't name that guy, but he has red hair and is kinda ugly...just sayin
