It has been a while since I posted on my blog.
It has been more than a year since I last cruised with my bug.  I have driven it around in the neighborhood and I drove it from the old place to the new one.  The fender laws are stopping me from driving it year round so I think I am going to revert my bug back to stock fenders.  I am also lacking the skills necessary to get the volksrod to the picture in my head, and I do not want to do it the wrong way and end up unhappy.
I am going to keep the beam extender unless someone gives me a price I cannot refuse.  Maybe in the future I can have two bugs, one stock body, and the other volksrod.
Time to collect parts to undo what I have done so far:
Fenders (got a good lead from Mark)
Steering column
Frunk nose

I have one front fender left in the stock pile. I think it is the passenger side one.....

Let me know if you need it for an entire $25.

Good to see you working on it again.

The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

I may have to pick you up on that offer.  Is it a 70's fender?

It is for a 68' to 73' car.

It has the long thin bumper hole in it, unlike your old giant bumper holed 74' and up fenders.
