Were we the only ones there from RCV yesterday (4/11/09)?
It was a fairly-good meet. Weather was about normal for the season. A few sprinkles, but tolerable.
The crown was great. People were really having a good time. Very social bunch.
Looked like a bit over 100 cars on the field. Not all were judged. Mostly air-cooled, but a good assortment of water-cooled, including pretty-new ones. Range of cars was from show-quality oval window to rat rods. Lots of buses, including a high-roof, tradesman's bus converted to a hot-dog vendor.
Perhaps 35-40 vendors for the swap meet. About 1/3 were indoors. Good array of parts, etc.
A high spot was the portable dyno. Two runs for $20.
