The Rose City Volksters are hosting a Winter Rally and Poker Run in support of the Oregon Food Bank.
Saturday, February 28th; check-in starts at 10:00 am at Always V-Dub 1824 S.E. 50th Avenue Portland, Oregon 97215.
Check point addresses will be provided at check-in. Participants will collect five cards along the way. There will be a 4 hour time limit.
Prizes will be given for:
Best Hand
Worst Hand
Lowest Mileage (After all check point locations are visited) Mileage will be rounded up as older cars do not have 10ths. Cars with larger or smaller tires will be adjusted accordingly
The Course is approximately 100 miles so prepare accordingly.
All drivers are responsible to ensure they follow all traffic laws. Plan ahead this could be about a 150 mile drive if you get turned around. This is not a race, prizes are for the best and worst hands and mileage only. Drive safe and be courteous.
Entry Fee is $10 and 2 cans of Food
A draw card can be purchased for $10 at the end of the rally. In the event of a mileage tie, the person with the better poker hand will win. In the event of tying poker hands (This is possible with multiple decks) The tied individuals will do a 3 of 5 High/Low draw. The winner will get to play there hand, the other will be out
There will be a 50/50 raffle, tickets will be sold at the starting and ending locations.
