Flicks by the Fountain
Anyone interested in a FREE night of family entertainment w/an outdoor viewing of the timeless 80's classic "Goonies"...might be cool to paint the parking lots with VW and generally associate with one another in a relaxed atmosphere...

The worst performance mod is whatever you're limited to because you convinced yourself (or others) that anything bigger or faster was too extreme for a street car.

....just an option for anyone interested. I also am hoping that the whether is cool enough by movie time (sometime around 8:30 pm) as I have lil' ones myself. But I am a sucker for free family entertainment and would hate to miss the opporotuniy to see Sloth on the big screen!

Re: Flicks by the Fountain
So i was just checking the weather forecast for Beaverton tonight. It says by 7pm it will be Sunny 75 degrees out. The temperature will be dropping by 3 degrees every hour while remaining sunny after that. So it should not rain and also be not hot for this event so i am definatley going to this tonight. Anyone else planing on coming as well? Ideas on where to meet up prior to going to this? I have never been to this park or to the library in Beaverton before so i dont know where the best place is for seating to watch this.
Laos should state the site recommends bringing blankets to lay on. But there will be a section for people with chairs.I can bring my sleeping bag to lay on. I also have a camp chair i can bring.

Re: Flicks by the Fountain
Hey jbjetta,
I live fairly close to the park so was just planning on heading strait there. The library and park are directly across the street from each other. There is also a parking lot connected to the park which is between Hall and Watson Blvds which are one-ways going oppsite directions. I am planning on bringin a blanket for the fam as I doubt I am going to be able to keep my lil' guy seated for all too long.
Anyone going is more that welcome to stop by my place first to meet up; I live right off of 26 in Cedar Hills.
I will check this after I get home from work and can give my number to any takers out there.

Re: Flicks by the Fountain
Sorry I never made it haha. I ended laying down to watch One Crazy Summer in my room and I fell asleep. I worked long hours this week for work even though I only worked 3 days but put in close to 55 hours.

Re: Flicks by the Fountain
It was a good time - only made it about half way thru movie as my lil' guy was way too tired to stay any longer and he's not exactly the type of toddler that is content with staying still; I have to say that I did enjoy interupting the soundtrack when I started Bugzy to go home!
